Victoria is a Senior Director at Carr and Co and specialises in Property law. She advises on all aspects of residential Conveyancing as well as Commercial Property transactions. She has experience in representing both Landlord and Tenants in both residential and Commercial Leases. She is Head of Conveyancing in the Firm. She qualified as a solicitor in 2008 (LLB Hons), but had previous experience in conveyancing for a number of years prior to qualification. Victoria can also advise on Wills and Probate.
Victoria won a People Award at the ESTAS Conveyancer Awards 2018, being one of 3 conveyancers in the country to be awarded the ‘Highly Commended’ trophy based purely on customer feedback. She was thrilled to be presented with the award by Phil Spencer.
She lives in Northumberland and has one son.
Denise is a Director at Carr and Co.
She specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing.
Denise qualified as a solicitor in 2001.
Laura is the Practice Manager at Carr & Co Solicitors having previously worked at law firms in Newcastle and Northumberland since 2004.
Laura assists the Directors with the day to day running of the practice as well as implementing longer term projects for the firm as Carr & Co Solicitors continues to grow.
A firm believer in promoting local businesses, Laura endeavours to use locally based suppliers where possible.
Laura lives in Northumberland and has two young sons.
Colleen is a Conveyancing Executive at Carr & Co Solicitors and deals with all aspects of buying and selling your home.
Colleen has over 25 years experience and works closely with the other team members to ensure clients transactions run as smoothly as possible.
Colleen lives in Northumberland.
Debbie is a Conveyancing Executive at Carr & Co Solicitors who specialises in helping people move home and can assist with your conveyancing requirements. She has over 30 years experience of working in a legal background.
Debbie works closely with her other team members to ensure clients transactions run as smoothly as possible from the initial instruction to completion of the matter.
Debbie lives in Northumberland.
Jenny is our Senior Private Client Associate and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She has 15 years of experience in advising on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and probate.
Jenny also has the STEP Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients and can assist in deputyship applications and Court of Protection matters.
Jenny lives in Northumberland.
Lianne is a Trainee Conveyancer with over 20 years experience of working at the firm.
She is based at our Blyth office.
Lianne has two sons and one daughter and lives in Northumberland.
Natalie qualified as a Solicitor in 2011. She is a specialist in the field of civil litigation, initially focusing on personal injury before expanding into other areas of civil litigation.
Natalie utilises a results driven focus combined with in excess of 20 years of litigation experience to provide her clients with high quality legal assistance with the aim of achieving the best possible outcome.
Philippa Lynn is a qualified Solicitor who advises on Will provision, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Court of Protection, Civil Litigation and Conveyancing related matters.
Philippa has worked at the firm since 2021 and has since qualified as a Solicitor following successfully completing her period of recognised training with the firm.
Philippa graduated with a Law Degree (LLB Hons) in 2020 and following this went on to complete the Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws qualifications.
Shannon is a Private Client Associate at Carr & Co Solicitors who deals with Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and the Administration of Estates.
Shannon is currently an Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is studying to become a fully qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).
Vicky is a qualified Solicitor at Carr & Co Solicitors who advises on residential and commercial property matters.
Vicky graduated from Sunderland University with a Law Degree (LLB Hons) and following this, went on to complete the Legal Practice Course and qualify as a Solicitor having passed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination in 2024.
Vicky has two sons and lives in North Tyneside.
Cameron is a Trainee Solicitor at Carr & Co Solicitors and has experience in Residential and Commercial Property matters. He can also assist with Will Provision, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate.
Cameron graduated from Northumbria University in 2024 with a First-Class Masters in Law (MLaw) and has completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC).

Phoebe is a Solicitor Apprentice at Carr & Co Solicitors who deals with Will provision, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate related matters.
Phoebe graduated from Northumbria University in 2022 with a Law Degree (LLB Hons) and is currently studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE1&2).
Celine is a Legal Assistant at Carr & Co Solicitors who assists in various areas of law, including Will provision, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Court of Protection, Civil Litigation, and Conveyancing. With a strong passion for the legal field, she graduated with a Law Degree (LLB Hons) from Northumbria University in 2024, equipping her with a solid foundation in legal principles and practical skills.
She is committed to supporting clients through complex legal processes and providing high-quality assistance to the team at Carr & Co Solicitors.
Lauren is a Legal Assistant at Carr and Co Solicitors with over five years experience. She assists both the Residential and Private Client departments, working primarily alongside Victoria Bell, at our Blyth office.
Lauren has worked at the firm since 2019, starting initially as a Legal Receptionist before taking up her new position of Legal Assistant. She enjoys her varied workload and assisting clients to ensure they receive the best service and outcome possible on their matter.
Michelle is a Legal Assistant with over 20 years experience of working in a legal background. She works closely with Denise Arnott in the Residential Conveyancing Department, based in the Blyth office.
Michelle started working in law firms in 1988 as an office junior before progressing quickly to Legal Assistant/Paralegal roles, predominantly in Conveyancing. She took a career break to raise her family for 15 years before returning to work as a Legal Assistant in 2023.
She lives in North Tyneside.
Sonia is a Legal Assistant with over 30 years experience in various office roles. She holds a Level 3 Administration Assistant qualification, and she is instrumental in the smooth running of the Private Client department, alongside her other team members.
She has both a grown-up son and daughter who she enjoys spending time with outdoors, taking their dogs to the beach.
She lives in Northumberland.
Zoe is our Legal Receptionist who is often the first point of contact for the practice. She has over 15 years experience in this field.
Zoe exhibits a friendly and warm welcoming approach to both clients and third-party suppliers alike, whether it be via the telephone or in person.
She lives in Blyth with her husband and two teenage children.
