New Partner claims his place at North East Firm

A North East firm of solicitors has appointed Mark Lynn to join its team of all female Partners.

Carr & Co solicitors, which has branches across the region, has promoted associate solicitor Mark Lynn to Partner.

Mark, who is 28, will join Partners Valerie Wormald, Sharon Smith and Gemma Iceton to become the youngest and only male member of the Firm’s team of Partners.

Originally fromMiddlesbrough, Mark studied for his Law Degree at NorthumbriaUniversity.

He joined Carr & Co in April 2007 as a trainee and is now head of the Conveyancing Department at all three branches. He assists clients atBlyth, Morpeth andNewcastleon buying, selling or transferring their home or business and specialises in Property Law.

Mark has said “I’m thrilled with my new position at Carr & Co.  Joining the Partnership is a really exciting development in my career and it is fantastic to be rewarded for the hard work I have done over the past 4 years”.
