Worker's Rights

Major changes to the Employment Tribunal took place on 31st August 2013. Previously Tribunals were designed to allow free access to justice to employees who felt their employment rights had been impaired. From 31st August 2013 an employee must pay at least £450.00 to start a claim, with very limited provision for those on little or no income. It is anticipated that these changes will reduce the number of claims to the Tribunal and it remains to be seen if it acts as a barrier to justice. If you think this may affect you contact us
